Since when I have started to give a higher and different value to fashion the lesson I have learned is that either the texture and the fabric are two fundamental elements to be taken into consideration when evaluating clothes or accessories. Probably this is an attitude that us younger generations have forgotten and lost or probably have never had since we are always gravitating towards what is rightly called “fast-fashion”(an idea that consists of quickly choosing, buying and swallowing fashion items that as soon as they are worn are in real time old and out of fashion). I bet my father and my mother still are not totally familiar with this modern way of fruition, proof is that my dad always touches fabrics when he enters a shop. I must admit that I always make some jokes on him about that but as time passes by I realize how important being selective is!
So lately I have found myself pretty much interested in textures and, as a consequence, what I buy is because of its fabric. That is exactly the case happened when I run into this dress at COS, I immediately fell for its thick texture and heavy fabric, elements that both make it Autumn appropriate. I paired the dress with simple and basic elements and minimalistic jewelry because I did want it to stand out, so I chose my black Marc by Marc Jacobs shoulder bag and nude Nine West shoes.
