COATS, THE COLOR AND THE SHAPE

I must admit I am not an Autumn kind of girl. When October comes and Fall comes I always feel big nostalgia for the warmer weather, the blue sky, the carefree summer mood with all its colors and the beauty of leaving home so easily with a simple dress and not much else. But the new Fall season is here and to stay: the low temperatures, the grey sky, my need for hot tea don’t lie! So, to welcome Fall and its fashion appropriately I have collected my six favorite clothes and accessories I am mostly excited to sport and those I would like to try. I have collected six categories: coats, boots, sweaters, pajamas, bags, rain boots & umbrellas and I am going to share every week my little selection of favorites.

This first chapter is about Fall and Winter coats. Let me first say that I am greatly happy that this Autumn  there will not be only camel and dark coats. After all, isn’t the weather gloomy enough to go wearing all black and dark ensembles? Truth is that whoever set the rule of “the colder the weather the darker the ensemble” has seen the world to go following but not this year because pastel colored coats are in fact blossoming everywhere and I am so excited to start this trend!

But apart this color thing there’s another aspect that makes me love this year’s coats more than the previous years and that aspect is their shape. Oversized shape, to be more precise. And with a well-established purpose: to achieve the effortlessly allure that can be considered with no doubts the holy Grail of fashion.
