I still remember with a cute horror a particular period of time during my teenage years when the fashion uniform for either boys and girls was a high neck tee under a checkered shirt. I think I never wore such kind of outfit – proof is no pictures of me exist sporting that trend – but I vividly remember like it was yesterday my sister rocking it (sorry, sis!), hence the cutely horrific memory.

So when I started spotting high neck sweaters on Fall/Winter 2013 runways I honestly didn’t know what to think. For my very personal taste I must admit that wearing a high neck tee has always been a fashion don’t for me. But this new Fall trend is here now, and there are looks available to be inspired from. Having a look at some outfits straight from many catwalks I am now not feeling too adamant with my previous point of view on the high neck trend, and this means I want to give the trend a try.

If you have a look at the pictures I have collected you will notice that they show how to sport the Fall high neck trend in very different ways. Isn’t this versatility of the high neck trend interesting to you too? High neck can be worn with trousers or with skirts or under a sweater to add some layers or either to create some color-contrast in a matchy-matchy outfit. The trend really can fit different styles going from office ready to more sophisticated looks.

So how do you rate the high neck trend? Do you love it or hate it?
