Wearing: Gap denim shirt. Gap trousers, Coccinelle belt, Sciubi shoes, Calzedona socks (man), Coccinelle shoulder bag, Oysho coat, H&M ring
It can be said without any doubts that in the world of fashion the jeans are the most versatile piece one could own. In the same way I am lately discovering that a denim shirt is as comfy and as versatile as a good pair of jeans. Also, you can really pair and enjoy a denim shirt with everything: with a classic and polished black pleated skirt, you can embellish it with a sequined brooch, you can match it with a pair of jeans of a different color. You can’t go wrong here, it is an always stylish option that is quickly becoming my no-brainer way out for those days when I have nothing to wear. But being denim the most neutral of all fabrics it can make you run the risk of wearing something boring – so to avoid that what I like to do is to work on the details of the outfit. Personalization is key! And it is fun. And it stimulates one’s creativity on pairing different colors, materials, fabrics, textures, shapes, etc. Here I have been inspired by the ankle length of my trousers to add some funny striped socks – an unexpected addition to bring a touch of personality to the whole outfit.
