I wish this was some kind of advert about me finally having a green thumb. A lighter shade of green is welcomed too, but it’s with deep sadness that I must announce that this is not the case… Relieved? Yeah, me too. Just the idea of waking up in the middle of the night because darling I forgot to water the flowers makes me sweat and panic. Although I know very well that I would never wake up in the middle of the night because darling I forgot to water the flowers. True fact.
Just because it’s spring and this beautiful season calls for flowers (and the unavoidable bees), I decided to just play a little bit with colors and with a couple of violets that my sis (she runs the green thumb in the family, btw) gave me. So, just a simple exercise using strong colors, trying to explore how colorblock leads to different moods. And, also, practicing using the tripod: I’m still so super clumsy when I use it, I must admit it can be the best of friends but you’d better have a tetris-like mind – which I have not, of course – and that’s quiiite the frustrating situation for myself. But I’m learning.
